It is normal to feel overwhelmed sometimes and it is perfectly acceptable to need some down time or some assistance
in "catching up" on things around the house. Today it is not uncommon for children to be raised in a single family home
or a home where both parents MUST work. We understand that there are just times when a family needs help. ESPECIALLY
when battling a custody case or the threat of one. IFAC staff coupled with our list of resources is designed to
provide a hand up not a hand out. That is why we are here. Our sole purpose is to help and educate people in order to
prevent unnecessary state intrusion into the lives of Illinois Families.
IFAC does not EMPLOY anyone we are staffed strictly with people who volunteer their
time and efforts to help others. We do not recieve funding from anyone or from any source. We do not have a problem
with donations from those who are NOT clients of IFAC recieving Advocacy Services. Monitary donations such as
to assist in the one time payment of utilities must be made directly to the utility company. WE DO NOT accept monitary donations
directly to us. We DO accept donations in the way of office supplies and equiptment. Please see our donations page for more
information on this subject.
